Matt Goldberg

Photographer | Writer | Musician | Radio Host

I am Matt Goldberg, an artist living and making sense of the world in Northern California.

I've been writing and recording music under the moniker Gobi Blank since 2009, and I host the radio program How to Breathe Underwater on KHSU 90.5FM Arcata, where I have worked and volunteered as an operations expert, producer, and host since 2012.

I've been taking photos off and on for my entire life. For the last few years it's gotten easier to share work, so that's gotten me really excited to shoot. And living up north doesn't hurt either. Everything is beautiful, all year round.

I am also a freelance writer/editor, and poet. My writing is much like anything else I make, it's focused around life, and the natural world, and rhythm.

I won't explain my work. I leave that up to you.
